Thanks for doing this each month. It really helps me see how realistic (or usually UNrealistic) I am in my reading expectations. And I always end up adding more books to my TBR list after seeing what everyone else is reading.

This carnival is just so much fun! I love hearing what everyone is reading.

“Nightstand” is a little misleading. My poor books are scattered across shelves, desktops, tabletops, and the occassional nightstand.

Mine too! Here are the top 3 at the moment, can you tell my pile is geared to the classics challenge?
The Woman in White, Wilkie Collins
Last of the Mohicans, James Fenimore Cooper
Demon Ex-Machina, Julie Kenner
And I’m reading Owen Barfield’s History in English Words and Thomas Mann’s The Holy Sinner.

I agree that nightstand is a little misleading. lol. Mine are mostly stacked on a table in the living room but a few are scattered around the house.

Mine are all over the place as well. But it makes for a catchy title at any rate. =) “What’s all around your house” wouldn’t have done so very well. Although that IS the truth of it! If anyone out there truly keeps all of their books on their nightstand – do let me know!

Unfortunately, my current reads are on my bed and future reads are stacked in a beautiful basket near my bed! I’ve been meaning to at least get them off the bed hehe
“Secrets of Six Figure Women” by Barbara. Stanny
“Choosing me Before we” by Christine Arylo,
“Smart Cookies’ Guide to Making More Dough and Getting Out of Debt” by The Smart Cookies

My nightstand has been taken over by my 3 year old daughter. It is covered with Dora and Curious George books.
