We all have reading lists throughout the summer (or at least, some of us did if teachers assigned us some), but sometimes we feel like we nee new books to add on and explore.
We can get suggestions from friends, family…or even websites, but aren’t you a little bit curious about what books people indulge in, especially when they have limited time and have to choose wisely? The Presidents of the past have had some great taste- so we wanted to share the summer reading lists for President Obama, President Bush and President Clinton.
Maybe this will inspire you to add some new books to your list!

Have you read any of these books, or are there any that inspired you?
This guest post was contributed by the Black Book Club, which is a site dedicated to sharing beautiful literature that will inspire and speak to black readers everywhere. We like to cover all sorts of niches and highlight authors who really make a splash. We’re always open to giving reviews and suggestions. Just ask!

I love knowing that our presidents take time to read — for pleasure and to build knowledge.
Thanks for this post!

Ah, Lush Life is an interesting choice. Not too heavy for summer reading and not too light for Presidential reading.
