I wanted to reward and thank those of you who have commented here on our new site with a special prize drawing, so I’ve done a random drawing from all the comments we’ve received over the last week (it’s our one week anniversary!). Read more about the prize, and stay tuned to find out who the winner is.
One day we drove up into our driveway, and there was a rather large box that had been left outside the garage by our friend the Big Brown Truck driver.
“What is it?” Amanda asked, always anxious to open a package.
Seeing the writing on the outside, and knowing it was something I was expecting, I told them that they could open it and see.
Amanda brought it inside, and she and Kyle set to work at figuring out what might be inside (It was clearly marked on the box, but my children are not generally focused on the outside of the box, but instead what might possibly be inside).
They were excited at what they found:
I’ve never received, or sent, a cookie bouquet, but the packaging was great. They are all fresh baked and then shipped for freshness. The cookies came shrink-wrapped and then covered with individual bubble wrapped sleeves on them while still packaged as the bouquet. They were all in tact, and even more importantly–tasted good!
This Life’s a Beach bouquet really did brighten up our week (check out the cute Beachcomber Bag as an affordable option to bring a little taste of summer your way). The winner will receive the Smiley Face Daises Cookie Bouquet, which will be sent directly from Cookies by Design the week of August 2.
I pulled up all comments, 97, and used random.org to pick a number. The rare #1 came up, and since they are listed most recent to oldest, the winner was a comment from our Wordless Wednesday post — Deb at Mom of 3 Girls! Congrats.
Keep reading 5 Minutes for Books, and joining in the community. I have many giveaways to come, and I hope to throw in a few more surprises along the way as well.
