Read it Before You See It: This is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper

August 18, 2014 by Jennifer

Disclosure: I am excited to be a part of the #TIWILY book club. This is a sponsored campaign, but as always, my opinions are my own.

In anticipation of the movie release of This Is Where I Leave You on September 19, Warner Brothers Pictures is hosting a book club discussion on their Facebook page for This Is Where I Leave You.

Ever since I saw the movie preview for the first time, I have been interested in this movie: Tina Fey, Jason Bateman, Jane Fonda — what a cast! Family drama, angst, humor — all the things I look for in a movie! If you haven’t seen it, check it out below (The movie is rated R and the preview is for adult audiences):

My book is on the way, and I can’t wait to read it. Warner Bros. Pictures is helping me to throw a book club party by sending over some supplies and books. I will be posting about my book club in a few weeks. I’d love to hear if you have plans to read it before the movie comes out.

Have you read it? Do you want to read it before you see the movie? If so, join in on the movie’s Facebook page. Each Wednesday they are posting a question and opening it up for discussion. By commenting, you are eligible to win a signed movie posters and trip to the premiere in Hollywood!

The first #TIWILY question is already up. They’re talking about Judd:

I read this book while in labor with my daughter and loved it! It had the perfect amount of hilarity and ridiculousness to get me through the pain! Hope you enjoy it.
