Unlike last month I remembered our not-so-new date of the 2nd Tuesday of the month, so that you have time to write up a post if you use this as a reminder, or you can link up the post that you dutifully posted on your blog, instead of letting it linger unlinked.
We appreciate those of you who faithfully participate, tell your own blog readers about our monthly linkups, and visit around to get ideas from other readers.
Kids’ Picks is an opportunity for you to share books that have enchanted your own kids. Link up the books that they love. You might not fully endorse them, or you might love them yourself. But we parents covet recommendations of books that are truly kid-approved.
We must never give up as parents! It’s never too late to open a child’s eyes to the love of reading!
I’m not sure where that impassioned plea came from, but if you feel the same, link up your blog post (or tell us in the comments if you are blogless) what books your child loved this month. Please link directly to your blog post, and include your children’s ages for ease in visiting.

I think I should’ve titled this one: Batman and Jane Austen to make it a little more eye-catching. 🙂 It’s about unusual board books!

My link is to a blog where books are reviewed and I found a real gem in “Lionel’s Grand Adventure – Lionel and the Golden Rule.” My son loved it and so did I because there was a lesson involved. I was very happy to see that this is going to be a series and the second book should be out soon, titled “Lionel’s Grand Adventure – Lionel Turns the Other Cheek.”
