This is my first nightstand post since October – boy, the holidays really threw me for a loop this year! Looking forward to reading all the posts – or as many as I can!
Let’s see…right now I am reading The Reluctant Prophet by T. Davis Bunn. Which I have enjoyed very much. It is a fictional prophecy book and that is different from what I generally read. I am also reading More Than a Carpenter by Josh McDowell. Very good as well! Next in line will be God’s Joyful Surprise by Sue Monk Kidd. On my site is my list for 2010. I wish I could read more but time just doesn’t allow. I have built my list for 2010 on some reviews that have been posted to a variety of Christian blogs. Thank you ladies for posting them! They are very helpful
I left a few books off my original post so if you’ve already read it, please go back and read the update! http://lifewithmyboys.wordpress.com/2010/02/23/february-nightstand-2/
I gotta stack of books for Xmas that I am noodling with:
The Dome -Stephen King
Noel Coward Bio
Queen Elizabeth I – fairly recent bio
Theatrical Anecdotes – Peter Hall
The Gatehouse- Nelson DeMille
Lincoln Lawyer- Michael Connelly
The 2952 Best things Anyone Ever Said- Contemporary Quote Collection
I just posted my very first What’s On Your Nightstand post on my blog and am so excited to participate! I’m not so much of a reader and ever since I challenged myself to read 52 books this year, I have gotten my joy of reading back. I think this will be a great way to motivate myself to read. Thanks 5 mintues for books!
