I love giving books as gifts — my children’s friends’ birthday parties, baby gifts, my friends’ birthdays, Christmas — any occasion is acceptable.
One of the unique features that I love about Inscribe-It is that your inscription is printed on the first page. It’s the exact same book you’d buy in the store, but with a custom printed page bound at the beginning of the book. Not only can you include an inscription, but you can include a picture as well. What an extra-special touch!
When I was offered the chance to try out Inscribe-It‘s service, I knew exactly what book I’d select as a special keepsake for my children. Both of them fell in love with Marley — the world’s worst dog — this year.
So I picked out Bad Dog Marley, and I knew the perfect inscription to make it a keepsake.
To Amanda and Kyle, from your Good Dog, Shadow. July 2009
The picture is our annual Father’s Day picture, which included my husband’s best-loved (or at least most loyal) “child” — our dog Shadow.
They offer books in many categories, and I can think of so many gift-giving possibilities. In addition to a birthday gift, what a great way to welcome a new baby, or commemorate this first day of school, or mark a graduation.
One winner (U.S. only) will win their choice of book (up to $30). Visit their site, then tell us which you’d book you’d select, and how you’d inscribe it.
Inscribe-It is also running a twitter contest all month, so after you enter here, just tweet @inscribe_it with the book you’d get and how you’d inscribe it. One person will win each week! Check out the details on their homepage.
This is part of the 2009 Back-to-School Giveaway. We’d love it if you helped spread the word!
