Sherry’s Semicolon blog was one of the first book blogs that I frequented when I started blogging years ago. The fact that she was from Houston, the home I was living away from, made her blog even more interesting (Check out one of her bookmarked posts Ways to be Texan to see what I mean).
We most recently served together on the Cybils Middle Grade Fiction panel. When she found out I was moving back to Texas, she suggested that we might try to work as a team to plan a Houston book blogger meetup.
Stay tuned to Semicolon for more info. If you fill in this form, we’ll send you more information about the gathering. I’ve offered up my home in Northwest Houston as a venue, and we were thinking that a Saturday brunch might work with people’s busy schedules.
If you live in the Houston area and blog about books (even if you blog about other topics too), fill out this form to get on our master list. Whether it’s on Semicolon or here, you only need to fill in the form one time:

I’m sure that there are lots of cool book blogging chicks in the DC area. I know of several right off the top of my head. . . . !
