The Robot Book

November 27, 2010 by Nancy

First, check out this trailer:

[mc src=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pg6U1VNNAi0&feature=player_embedded” type=”youtube”]YouTube Video[/mc]

Is that not one of the cutest book trailers ever? The catchy tune, the excitement of the tools, and of course the boy coming to retrieve his book at the end all make me want to watch it over and over.

Amazon describes The Robot Book as a board book but it’s so much more than that. Gears that rotate, nuts that move and bolts that spin immediately appealed to both my 4- and 7-year old boys. And of course there’s the message that it’s what inside that counts, which I think everyone can use a little reminder once in a while. This would make a great gift to any child who loves robots or just parts that move.

Andrews McMeel publishing is generously offering 5 copies of The Robot Book as part of our Gift Guide & Giveaway (US only please!).

My little brother is not so little (19 now) but he LOVES robots! He started a robotics club at his high school, and they won state competitions (yes, they really do that). He is also saving up money to get into college so he can build robots for NASA. So cute 😉 I’d love to give this book to him!
