Rowan Campbell has a stalker. That’s not surprising for an international model and photographer, but there’s a difference. Jarrod Mallone wants to control her magic, an ability she’s inherited from her mother but has never learned to control. Rowan’s been in denial about her magic abilities for most of her life, but when she feels threatened, she can really hurt people.
Mallone, powerful and well-connected, has escalated his stalking game and plans to kidnap Rowan and force her to use her magic to help him. He’s got another motive as well. Rowan is going to need to use all her wits to escape him, as well as finally dealing with her magical abilities. With the help of her white-hat-hacker brother Griff, she uses a series of fake IDs to head first to Wales and then to Western New York, where she spends time getting training from her aunt Maya and learns more of how her history and Mallone’s are connected. The only way she can escape Mallone is to figure out how to channel the power coursing through her.
Wired for Magic is a fast read, occasionally a bit clunky, but with interesting characters and a plot that more than holds your interest.
