If you think about it, picture books can really have two big goals– to entertain the children for whom they’re written, and to keep the adult who is often reading them aloud enjoying the experience, too. Sometimes those two purposes seem at odds with each other, but other times, there comes a book that both audiences will truly warm to. Bruce’s Big Move by Ryan T. Higgins is one of those books, for sure.
