Wow, we had such a response to the giveaways that I am announcing today. Remember, I will always (try to) have a giveaway on Wednesdays. There may be some other giveaways throughout the week, but I’ll always announce the winners on a Wednesday. I will also use these posts to either give you information or solicit it from you (see below).
The winners are:
Breaking Dawn — #24 Nancy and #147 Lorry Hill.
Real Food for Healthy Kids from my Kids in the Kitchen post — #101 Liz C. and #197 Kathy Pease.
Bone Graphix — Grand Prize winner of 3 books and two toys is #99 Linda Moeller. Winner of the first book in the series is #239 Heather C., #115 Margie, #118 Vickie Courturier, and #182 Kim B.
And for a possible surprise giveaway entry, please tell me if there’s a genre of book that you think we are not covering well. What would you like to read more about — for yourself or for your kids? What type of reading are you most likely to pick up on your own (as general as what genre or as specific as favorite books or authors would be great).
I try to balance the reviews as far as content, and this will help us prioritize what most interests our readers. Thanks.
And remember, you can always search by specific type of book using the category drop-down box on the right hand side, or just click the “filed under” category at the bottom of the post to find more of the same.

I love your site and think you’re doing a great job. I wonder if you could do an occasional review of books for younger children. I have 2 kids under 3, and I’m always looking for book suggestions for the grandparents or for the library.

I love mysteries and really love Christian mysteries. My favorite author in this genre is Robert Whitlow. I’d love to see more of this type of review. Thank you for all the reviews that you have provided, as I am expanding my horizons with your recommendations.

Even though I’m a 28 year old mom of a 17 month old boy, I pretty much only read young adult fiction (though I read a ton of it). And for the most part, I’ll only read YA written by female authors.
I like YA because they’re light and fun, but also because the tempo is so much more upbeat. While an adult fiction novel can take a hundred or more pages to get into the story, YA has to capture its readers in the first few pages, or even first paragraph. Which for me, makes them more worth my time.

I too have also really enjoyed the reviews that you have posted on here so far. It’s helping me to branch out from the genres that I would typically read.
It’s already been mentioned, but I would be interested in hearing about more mysteries as well.
