Ah, summer reading.
I’ve been making my kids read My kids have been reading; I’ve been reading; it’s been a delightful month. I’m also in a good place as far as not feeling overwhelmed by the review copies stacking up. I guess that’s in direct relation to the fact that I’ve spent a lot of unscheduled summer days with my nose in a book.
I’d love to hear about your reading plans for the next month. What books are you toting around in your beach bag or airplane carry-on? What book has caused you to stay up too late at night because you can’t put it down? What book have you recently finished that you just must share with the rest of us before you dig in to the next-up read on your nightstand?

Thanks for hosting, as always! This is one of my favorite memes of the month.
I love this meme too. I’m reading at least two books this month because I first read about them on these book lists.
Two books, a classic and an epic, are on my summer reading list: “Tom Sawyer” (Mark Twain) and “World Without End” (Ken Follett). Can’t wait.
For once, I don’t have anything checked out of the library, so I need to go through my TBR list and stock up again!
Blessings Jennifer and avid book readers that share here…
What a delight and great idea especially on summer reads to see what everyone’s reading!!!
I found out about this from Lisa Notes in my Google Reader because I secretly lurk and follow her there since meeting her at TSMSS (it’s been a long time since I’ve appeared and person to bless her for the wonderful writer and heartfelt inspiration Lisa is – sorry Lisa, I’m just not out there blogging that much but I try to keep track).
My 3 books that I’m reading are my summer reads and toted around in my Kindle for PC, which makes it possible for me to read books in English. Truly a blessing for me in this past year! Since this meme has been around for a few years now, I don’t know how I missed it or recommending it to others who read…this is great! Guess it was because I did not have much of a chance to read or have Kindle in my PC until last year. (sigh)
I’m trying to read all 3 at once plus Sarah Young’s “Jesus Calling” and my Bible reading plan
but I guess the one I started first has been kinda left behind when I began the other 2 the same day. I quickly added this on a page in my BLOG for BOOKs but if I remember next month, I’ll do a real blog post.(maybe I’ll get a sneak peak from Lisa in GR again)… happy reading everyone!
Thanks for hosting this. Hoping I can make it around browsing at all you wonderful BOOK fans and get to know more of you and your books!
(sorry for the book chapter comment…but I’m new so bear with me)~ Peggy
So glad you let us know! No comment is too long 🙂
I LOVE picking up free books on my Kindle, and also checking out what else is popular.
Currently reading puppy raising books…and german shorthair books…and my old standby of Julia Cameron’s the artist way. Looking for a good fiction selection. Any ideas?
I love Julia Cameron.
For great fiction, the best way to find some great ones is to check out our 5 Star Reads Page:

Thanks for hosting. This is my first time here, as I just started blogging. I had happened to post my current reading list a couple days ago and look forward to getting more ideas from these links.
Currently I am reading Robopocalypse by Daniel H. Wilson and I just finished up reading Hot Pursuit by Suzanne Brockmann. I love the site and I definitely bookmarked so that I can return.
Great! Thanks.
I did not write a book review but my friend and I wrote a post about the way we treat books….
Thanks for reading!
