Lest you think that I am totally hardened after I admitted that the book Things I Want my Daughters to Know didn’t make me cry, in spite of the heart-wrenching topic, I will go on the record in admitting that the touching stories in the Chicken Soup books do cause me to tear up every time. These stories are outstanding in their variety, insuring that there’s something for everyone. My daughter and I have shared and enjoyed quite a few of the Chicken Soup For The Soul Books since she was 7 years old. At 21 we still enjoy reading to each other.
