Earlier today I wrote about some Disney offerings that are perfect for Easter baskets. Here are 3 more books based on some favorite Disney characters.
In Winnie the Pooh: The Easter Egg Hunt Read-Along Storybook and CD, Rabbit is hosting an Easter egg hunt for all of his friends. Unbeknownst to Pooh, his basket has a hole in the bottom, so each egg he collects falls out. His friends each pick up an egg Pooh dropped, leaving the silly old bear with nothing, until they all share their eggs with him. The CD that accompanies the book has sound effects and movie voices for the characters.
Phineas and Ferb decide to throw an Easter festival in their backyard while their parents are at their shop. Meanwhile, evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz has dressed up as the Easter Bunny in an attempt to take over the Tri-State Area, but Agent P is on the job. Phineas and Ferb #8: The Easter Eggs-travaganza also includes some stickers that to the fun.
Mater is typically excited for the Easter Buggy to fill up his tire, and McQueen doesn’t want his friend to get hurt if the Easter Buggy doesn’t show. McQueen’s attempts to give Mater a happy Easter are thwarted time and again, until McQueen gets a surprise of his own. Fans of the Cars movies will love this adorable take on the holiday’s traditions.
These three Disney books would make a great addition to your child’s Easter basket.
