We have been fans of the I Spy books since I first bought some of the board books for my daughter. Amanda is now almost eleven-years-old, but Kyle (now 5) also enjoyed the books, as well as some of the easy readers in the series.
When I volunteered in the elementary school library, I noticed that they could not keep the I Spy Picture Riddle books on the shelves. That’s because the signature bright and busy photos along with simple text are second to none. Kids love finding the items on each page — over and over again.

I picked up 3 I Spy board books for .25 each at a used curriculum sale Sat. I almost did a happy dance right there in front of everyone. 😉
You are right. These are absolutely fantastic books. I used them all the time in my pre-k classroom. It was great for pairing an English language learner with a child whose first language is English to read together. One child points and says, there is the cat, while the other child notices it is el gato and says cat. And so on. Really helpful.

Four grandkids under five..I need this book. 🙂
I have a granddaughter that would love this book
These are wonderful books. One of my great grandsons absolutely loves them. I have to admit that I even enjoy doing some of them with him.
