This is our first attempt (maybe last??) to share some reviews via video. We won’t double up on all reviews, and I’m sure the learning curve will be steep, but we’ll give it a try.
I know that some of you will have no interest in these, but perhaps they will grab some attention on twitter or on youtube. If you ARE interested, you can subscribe to our 5 Minutes for Books channel on youtube.
This isn’t my best effort, but it’s a start. Next time I’ll figure out how not to READ my review and look at the camera and sound natural instead, not smack my lips, and get it shorter!
Well it was totally fun hearing your voice and seeing you a little more! I feel I know you a little better. Maybe I’ll have to revise my views on vlogs.
I do think that’s what people love about vlogging.
It did take 3 or 4 attempts for me to do it, and like I said, I STILL didn’t get it right, because I ended up basically reading my review not looking into the camera, but I am going to keep on trying, I think.
You’re awesome here, Jennifer!! (Love the glasses- tres chic!) I think, as usual, you’re leading the way in bringing the site to the next level, and I’ll have to give more serious thought to following you on this path. 🙂
Yes, I thought I’d wear my old-lady glasses, since I do wear them most of the time now even though they aren’t on in any of my headshots online.
