What’s on Your Nightstand — December

December 28, 2010 by Jennifer

The What’s on Your Nightstand carnival is the opportunity to figure out what you want to read over the next month, or tell us what you are currently reading now, or give a few mini-reviews of those books you just finished and are still on your nightstand because you haven’t returned them to the library or the bookshelf.

I thought since this is the year-end, I’d do things a little differently.

You can do this the “normal” way, and tell us either what you have read this month or what you hope to get to in the coming weeks, or you can look at 2010 in review and tell us some of your stand-out reads of the year. OR give us a rundown of your reading goals for 2011.

In 2011, we will continue with What’s on Your Nightstand the fourth Tuesday of each month, but we are letting go of the other other Tuesday carnivals. However, we hope that you’ll join us for the Cybils Challenge in 2011 (details to come).

Check out our current giveaways. Subscribe to our feed. Follow us @5M4B on Twitter.

Hmm…Not sure why November’s links are all showing up again–but my December link is here.

I just noticed that, too — that the first links here are November’s. My December one is near the end.

I already had my post ready before I saw your other ideas, but I have been considering doing a post on tops reads of the year later this week.

Same observation from me — my November link is showing up (currently at #9), but I didn’t put it there. I didn’t see it till I added my December post link.

I did it the usual way — like Barbara I didn’t see your other ideas till after my post was up.

I came and linked – and then noticed that for some reason I’m also linked (#4) to my November post – not sure how that happened! Anyway, if it’s not too difficult, go ahead and omit that link as it’s old.
Happy New Year, and thanks for this. I enjoy it each month!

Ha – now I read and see that apparently others are having the same issue I am 🙂

I’m having the same issue as everyone else. If you delete the old links, #18 is my old one. #27 is this month’s post. 🙂

    Happy reading!

I came, I linked, I’m glad to participate again. Happy New Year everyone!

Hey everyone- thanks for checking in with us to link up your Nightstand posts! There was a slight mix-up with the code and that’s why we were all walking down memory lane with last month’s links. The code should be correct now (fingers crossed, I’m not the best one with these issues), so please feel free to link up now!

    Sorry for the confusion!

I LOVE being in the US! Every time I read an interesting review on this site, I go order it online from the library. I’ve read some great books this year, thanks to you! 🙂 Keep up the good work!

Hello! It’s the first time I’m joining in on this blog carnival. I’ve posted a link to the Top 10 books I liked in 2010!
